About

I write women’s fiction that explores the emotions where identity, family, and cultural expectation collide. My work centres on women navigating the fragile space between who they were raised to be, and who they are becoming, either though resilience, choice, and the quiet courage required to claim one’s own life.

As a first‑generation Indian Australian, I’m drawn to the complexities of belonging - the push and pull of tradition, the weight of responsibility, and the longing for independence. These tensions inform my stories, where I examine how women negotiate relationships, community, freedom and their self‑worth to shape their lives.

My writing blends emotional depth with contemporary themes and will appeal to readers who enjoy character‑driven narratives and culturally layered storytelling. With a bit of drama. I’m have completed a manuscript that follows a young woman caught between family loyalty and personal agency, in addition I am completing another manuscript exploring how culture and community expectations inform a woman’s decisions. Stories that will resonate with readers of Sonali Dev, Monica Ali, Alka Joshi, and Jhumpa Lahiri.

Beyond fiction, I write a blog exploring identity, choice, and the psychology of transformation. Through personal reflections and narrative‑driven essays, I aim to create a space where women feel seen, supported, and inspired to choose themselves.

I live in Australia, where I divide my time between working, life, gardening, crocheting as well as exploring the stories that shape us - the ones we inherit, the ones we resist, and the ones we choose to tell the world.
